Garmin Connect

Automatically bring new Garmin activities and supported recovery data into Corlynx for a fuller view of your training.

How it works

After you connect, Garmin sends new data to Corlynx when it becomes available in Garmin Connect. Sync your device with Garmin Connect first; Corlynx then imports the data you have allowed it to receive.

Corlynx uses imported activities and recovery signals to inform training load, readiness, and personalized training insights. Available insights depend on the measurements and history you have provided.

Adding past activities?

The automatic connection does not import your past Garmin history. Use activity files to add older rides.

Connect Garmin to Corlynx

  1. Sign in to Corlynx and open You → Data sources.
  2. Select Garmin Connect → Connect, then Continue to Garmin Connect.
  3. Sign in on Garmin's page and review the sharing permissions. Allow the categories you want to import.
  4. Return to Corlynx and check that Garmin appears as connected.
  5. Sync your Garmin device with Garmin Connect to send new data.

Your Garmin password is entered on Garmin's page and is not shared with Corlynx.

What imports

  • Cycling activities: activity timing, duration, distance, and recorded measurements such as power, heart rate, cadence, speed, elevation, and route data.
  • Sleep and recovery: supported sleep summaries and stages, overnight HRV, and daily resting heart rate when provided by Garmin.

Measurements depend on your device, sensors, sharing permissions, and the data Garmin supplies. A connected account cannot add measurements that were not recorded.

This connection imports data into Corlynx. It does not publish workouts to Garmin or change your Garmin activities. Automatically detected Move IQ events are not imported as recorded cycling workouts.

Manage or disconnect

Open You → Data sources → Garmin Connect → Manage to choose whether Corlynx imports workout data and sleep and recovery data. Turning a category off stops new imports for that category.

To stop the connection, choose Disconnect Garmin Connect and confirm. You can also revoke access from Garmin's connected-app settings. Garmin's disconnect instructions explain where to find those controls.

Disconnecting stops future imports; it does not delete information already imported. See the privacy policy for data use, retention, and deletion information.

If data is missing

No new activities or health data

  1. Check that the activity or health summary is visible in your Garmin Connect account.
  2. Confirm that Corlynx is still connected and that the relevant sharing permissions and import categories are enabled.
  3. Allow time for Garmin's delivery and Corlynx's processing. Connection and processing status appear under Data sources.
  4. If Corlynx asks you to reconnect, follow that prompt and review your permissions again.

Older rides are missing

Older rides do not arrive through this automatic connection. Upload their original FIT or TCX files, or a ZIP of activity files.

A measurement is missing

Check that your device recorded it and that Garmin provides it for that activity or health summary. Different services may display or summarize source measurements differently.
